We are excited to announce that YouRSA has been featured in the 2024 edition of the Trialogue Business in Society Handbook. Celebrating South African arts and culture on a global stage, Widely regarded as the “CSI bible,” this handbook provides invaluable insights into corporate social investments (CSI) and its impact across various development sectors.
YouRSA is included in a case study under the Development Sector chapter, specifically focusing on arts and culture—one of 12 development sectors explored in this year’s edition. The theme for the 2024 handbook, Collaborating for Change, underscores the importance of partnerships in driving meaningful societal transformation. This aligns perfectly with YouRSA’s mission to spotlight and elevate South African creativity and heritage through collective effort and innovative collaborations.
YouRSA was launched by VMCo Advisory, an advisory firm specializing in public affairs, cultural diplomacy, and events management. The platform represents an ambitious initiative to mark 30 years of democracy in South Africa by recognising and celebrating the country’s spirited arts and culture space.
Anchored in a vision to generate worldwide exposure, YouRSA aims to create opportunities for South African artists and creatives—with a particular focus on young female artists, who are at the forefront of this initiative.
“YouRSA was conceptualised from a very simple need—we want the world to see what the South African creative landscape is capable of,” said Collen Dlamini, Executive Director of YouRSA.
This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone who has supported YouRSA. Thank you for being an integral part of this journey as we continue to share the richness of South African arts and culture with the world.
